Dean Duray Miller, age 49, died on Sept. 28, 2006. A devoted follower of Christ, he was a member, Sunday school teacher and Deacon of People’s Church in Franklin.
Duray was an employee of BellSouth for 28 years, serving as project manager. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeannine Miller. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Carey Miller of Franklin; son, Nathan Miller of Franklin; daughter Lindsey (Jarratt) Gunnells of College Grove; father Walt (Marsha) Miller of Franklin; brother Todd (Jenne) Miller of Olathe, Kan.; sister Christie (Tim) Raley of Franklin; grandchild Japeth Gunnells of College Grove. Duray was a great friend, classmate and teammate. I’ll never forget rolling around in his dune buggy and the parties we had in the “yellow” house in Lancaster.
